Why Occupational Therapy?

Paediatric Occupational Therapists are trained to help children whose daily lives may be limited by developmental delay, injury or illness. Our aim is to provide the support needed to enhance the child’s performance and maximise their productivity. As a result self confidence and independence are encouraged.

There are many reasons why a child may attend Occupational Therapy. Children who come to Sense Ability may be treated for:

> Autism spectrum disorder
> Developmental delay
> Learning difficulty
> Sensory processing disorder
> Physical disability
